We Slip When We Step On A Banana Peel?

The friction is reduced by using banana peel. Walking requires friction, which is essential. When we tread on a banana peel, it lessens the friction between our feet and the surface they are walking on. We trip over a banana peel because of this phenomenon, which we call slippage.

The reason we slide when we step on a banana peel is due to the smooth and slippery inner side of the banana peel, which lowers friction between the sole of our shoe and the road surface.
